Navya Nair wedding on Jan 21

Recently, actress Navya Nair was engaged to Santhosh Menon from Changancherry, who was working as a vice-president of an advertising company in Mumbai. Their parents nearly took a month to fix the marriage date and arranged the ceremony on January 21.

The family members have planned to host the marriage around 9 AM at Chepadu in Alappuzha in a traditional Kerala style. A grand reception will be held on the same evening at Changancherry where with who’s who of Malayalam film industry taking part in it.


Navya Nair made her debut in Tamil cinema with Azhagiya Theeye and gained appreciations for the extraordinary performances in Chidambarathil Oru Appasami, Pasa Kiligal, Amirtham, Mayakannadi and Raman Thediya Seethai. At present, she has paired with with Mammooty, Suresh Gopi and Dileep in Malayalam films and has signed a Tamil film Gowravargal.

The dusky Malayalam beauty Navya Nair who has become a busy bee in the Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada circuits seems to be on the peak of her career but then all this might just end in a rather abrupt manner soon. It is being heard that Navya has stopped accepting any film offers as there is news that her family has been looking out very extensively for an eligible groom. If all goes well, then the chances are that Navya might become the bride latest by July this year. A confirmation from her is awaited on this.

Navya Nair’s wedding plans

Actress Navya Nair's wedding will be held on January 21, 2010 at her native place, Haripad near Allapuzha. She will be marrying Santhosh Menon.

The venue for the wedding is Cheppad CKHS grounds. The ceremony will be held from 12.05 to 12.30pm and will be in Hindu-Nair style. The reception will be held at 6pm in the evening on that day in the same place.

Mohanlal, Mammootty and a number of other top Malayalam actors and actresses will be present at the wedding.

Meanwhile, Navya is yet to decide if her marriage will mark the end of her film career.
